Police Inspector Marks expressed his concern, emphasizing the importance of Mr. Baghsarian's daily medication and the urgency of the situation.
"It's a distressing sight to see an elderly man in such a state," Inspector Marks stated, adding, "We are doing everything in our power to bring him back safely."
But here's where it gets controversial: the family, who are not involved in criminal activities, have not received any ransom demands. Inspector Marks explained that this is unusual for a kidnapping case, raising questions about the motives behind this crime.

"The fact that these kidnappers made such a grave mistake is deeply concerning," he said.
CCTV footage captured the moment an SUV pulled up outside Mr. Baghsarian's home on Friday. Two hooded figures approached the house, struggled with someone, and then loaded the individual into the SUV. Shortly after, a burnt-out vehicle matching the description of the getaway car was found in South Turramurra.
Mr. Baghsarian was last seen wearing grey pajamas and a red and blue flannelette shirt.
New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has joined the plea for Mr. Baghsarian's safe return, urging the kidnappers to release him immediately.
"We are appealing to the kidnappers' humanity," Premier Minns said. "Please, return Mr. Baghsarian to safety."
